Therapy in English

For women who don't speak Polish and live in Poland, and for Polish-English couples

About me

I'm a psychologist and psychotraumatologist, currently completing a four-year accredited training program in integrative-systemic psychotherapy. My work draws on several approaches - Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gestalt, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic-systemic thinking - combined flexibly around what you actually need, session by session, rather than following one rigid method.

Individual Therapy — For Women

This service is exclusively for women who don't speak Polish and are currently living in Poland.

Therapy for women

If you've built a life in Poland without speaking the language, you already know how much extra effort ordinary things take - the bureaucracy, the small talk you can't quite follow, being far from the people who've known you for years. On top of that, you may be carrying the long-term effects of growing up in a dysfunctional or alcohol-affected family (often referred to as ACoA - Adult Children of Alcoholics), or relational and developmental trauma more broadly. I offer a space, in your own language, to work through both.

Who is this for

You may have grown up with a parent who struggled with alcohol, or in a home where love felt unpredictable, chaotic, or conditional. As an adult, this can quietly show up as: difficulty trusting others, over-responsibility or people-pleasing, anxiety in relationships, a harsh inner critic, or a persistent sense that something is “off” even when things look fine from the outside.
Sometimes the wound is even earlier - things that happened before you had words for them - and it keeps shaping how safe you feel in your own life and relationships. Living in a country where you don't speak the local language can amplify all of this: fewer people to turn to, more to carry alone. If any of this resonates, this is exactly the kind of work I do.

How sessions work

Sessions take place online via video call, wherever you are in Poland. We'll start with an initial consultation to talk through what brought you here and whether we're a good fit, before agreeing on a regular rhythm of sessions together.

Fee

Individual session (50 minutes): 240 PLN (~55€).

Couples Therapy — For Polish-English Couples

Therapy for couples

I offer a limited number of online consultations for Polish-English couples working through the particular strains of a cross-language relationship. Please get in touch to ask about availability.

Who is this for

Building a relationship across a language barrier brings its own particular strains: misunderstandings that come from translation rather than intention, one partner's family and culture staying out of reach for the other, or the imbalance of one of you navigating everyday life in Poland more easily than the other.

A note on emergencies

Consultations take place online via video call, with both partners joining together. We'll start with an initial conversation to understand what's bringing you to therapy as a couple and agree on how to move forward from there.

Fee

Couples consultation (online, 90 minutes): 360 PLN (~80€).
